ER visit

so newest update on me? I stayed home with Daddie and Sissie on Monday. we played most of the day, then napped. After getting up from my nap and after Mommie got home, she decided that I wasn't looking right. So she took my temp, which was 103.3, dosed me with Tylenol and off to walmart we went to get Popsicles. I didn't want dinner so I snuggled up on the couch and settled down for bed. Mommie checked on me before she went to bed and my temp was up to 104, and my heart was racing. Mommie couldn't count it since it was so fast. We called the Dr and went to the ER. Once there, my temp was 103.5 and heart rate was 194. Needless to say that was high for a child like me. I had to get an I.V. for fluids, I was dehydrated and had labs, a chest x-ray and rapid strep done. Everything came back negative, even the urine. so they put me on an antibiotic and I was to take Tylenol and Motrin around the clock until I was fever free. I saw the Dr Wednesday and we found out the my tonsils were HUGE. We also had my labs rechecked and my glucose is still up a little so I have to get it checked again Monday or Tuesday. Needless to say I am feeling much better but I have lost 4 pounds since Saturday. Well, my late night is over so I have to go. Goodnight and love to all.
